Fanola Color Formula(s) and Steps:
Starting level for both girls:
Ltnda's (Linda) hair is a level 9 and 10 with level 7 and 8 banding towards the roots. Her grow out is a bit over 4 weeks and her natural is a level 2.
Xolinda's (Linda) hair was last done about 5 months ago. Her hair was highlighted with previous level 8 and 9 hair. Her natural is also a level 2.
Ltnda-
Formula A (lightener):
Fanola Oro Bleaching Powder (100g) + Fanola Oro Therapy 24k Gold Activator 20-Volume (100g) + Fanola Fiber Fix n1 Bond Fixer (10g)
Xolindaa-
Formula B (lightener):
Fanola Oro Bleaching Powder (50g) + Fanola Oro Therapy 24k Gold Activator 20-Volume (50g) + Oro Therapy 24k Gold Activator 30-Volume (50g) + Fanola Fiber Fix n1 Bond Fixer (5g)
(Both girls)
Formula C (Zone 1 - On scalp):
Fanola Oro Puro Hair Coloring Cream 9.1 (60g) + 5.1 (3g) + 4.2 (3g) + Fanola Oro 10-Volume developer (99g) + Fanola Fiber Fix n1 Bond Fixer (10g)
Formula D (Zone 2 - Mids to ends):
Fanola Oro Puro Hair Coloring Cream 10.1E (60g) + Fanola Hair Coloring Cream 10.2F (40g) + Fanola 3.5-Volume developer (200g) + Fanola Fiber Fix n1 Bond Fixer (10g)
Application:
Ltnda-
1. Start applying Formula A (Lightener) on darkest areas first. Thoroughly saturate areas with darker Level 7 banding. Use papers to isolate these sections. For banding that is level 8, lightly apply product to gently lift these areas.
2. Check hair every 10 minutes for hair quality and color. Wipe off the lightener with a towel if hair becomes too weak or is lifted to a level 9+. Rinse when color is generally even or when hair is too processed to continue.

4. Shampoo with Fiber Fix Shampoo and follow up with Free No Yellow Shampoo. Leave on for 10 minutes.
5. Rinse and follow up with Free No Yellow Mask. Leave on for 10 minutes. Follow up with Fiber Fix Step 2 Bond Connector Sealing Cream.
6. Quickly apply color Formula D on the midshaft-ends and then apply Formula C onto the scalp area to start your shadow melt.
7. After 5 minutes apply Formula C about 1-2 inch into the midshaft and onto any areas that are not toning out with Formula D. Allow 10 additional minutes to process.
8. Rinse out the color and use Free No Yellow Mask again, then rinse the hair.
9. Follow up with your favorite styling products (we used Smooth care Leave in cream and Fanola Oro Therapy 24k Radiating Fluid Zaffiro Puro), blow dry and curl with a 1 1/4 inch curling iron.
Application:
Xolindaa-
1. For this application we are retouching her highlights that we did last time. Start by adding highlights and using Formula B (lightener).
2. Check hair in 15 minutes once done applying for hair quality and color (if you have slower application, you may have to check throughout application to ensure integrity of the hair). After, check every 10 minutes. Wipe off the lightener with a towel if hair becomes too weak or is lifted to a level 9+. Re-apply Formula B if some parts are not lifting as well. Rinse when color is generally even or when hair is too processed to continue.
3. Shampoo with Fiber Fix Shampoo and follow up with Free No Yellow Shampoo. Leave on for 10 minutes.
4. Rinse and follow up with Free No Yellow Mask. Leave on for 10 minutes. Follow up with Fiber Fix Step 2 Bond Connector Sealing Cream.
